<p>Là encore, <STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG> sera utilisé. Lancez donc <STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG>
en tant que <CODE>root</CODE> à partir d'un terminal, puis choisissez
<EM><STRONG>Comptes utilisateurs</STRONG></EM> (ou lancez directement
<CODE>userconf</CODE>) (figure 7.1).
<p>Si vous cliquez sur l'onglet <EM><STRONG>Comptes utilisateurs</STRONG></EM>, vous
obtenez la liste des utilisateurs déjà existants sur le système, il vous
suffit alors de cliquer sur <EM><STRONG>Ajouter</STRONG></EM> pour ajouter un compte
(figure 7.2).

<p>Il vous faut au minimum remplir le nom de connexion (donc le nom du
compte qui sera utilisé pour se connecter) et le nom complet (mettez-y
cependant ce qu'il vous plaira). Vous pouvez éventuellement lui
spécifier un numéro d'identifiant d'utilisateur. Si vous ne le faites
pas, il lui en sera attribué un unique. De même, vous pouvez ou non lui
spécifier un groupe d'appartenance: par défaut, <STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG> créera
un nouveau groupe pour cet utilisateur avec ce seul utilisateur comme
membre.
<p>Dès que vous êtes satisfait(e) des informations, cliquez sur
<EM><STRONG>Accepter</STRONG></EM>. <STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG> demandera alors un mot de passe
pour ce nouvel utilisateur. Comme toujours, soyez très prudent(e) dans
le choix de votre mot de passe! <STRONG>Linux-Mandrake</STRONG> vous avertira si votre
mot de passe est trop faible du point de vue sécurité. Par exemple, si
vous entrez <CODE>toto</CODE> comme mot de passe, <STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG> vous
avertira comme dans la figure 7.3 que ce mot de passe
est bien trop court.

<p>Il vous sera dans tous les cas demandé de le taper une nouvelle fois
pour confirmation. Voilà votre nouvel utilisateur créé.
<p>Pour supprimer un compte il suffit de le sélectionner dans la liste des
comptes et de cliquer sur <EM><STRONG>Effacer</STRONG></EM>.
<STRONG>LinuxConf</STRONG> vous demandera alors que faire des fichiers de
l'utilisateur.
