0-height items (like gold coins) can become "invisible" when dropped on the floor of multi-houses.
In fact they are still there, but the client draws the floor after the coins, hiding them.
Logging into a weather region doesn't show the weather effect until the character teleports. Consider adding a MoveCharacterToLocation call in logon.src (or somewhere else) if you require this.
Dropping an equippable item on a corpse doesn't always show as equipped.
